Anime Zero Trait Reroll Guide
The Enchanter workflow and the hunt for S-tier rolls — systematic, not lucky
How trait rerolls work
Traits are passive stat bonuses applied to your character. You roll them at the Enchanter (Matilda) using Trait Rerolls — each reroll replaces your current trait with a new random one. Stronger traits have rarer roll odds and their own pity counter. You can also use auto reveal to keep rolling until you hit your targets instead of confirming each result.
Where rerolls come from
Weekly Quests, Achievements, Milestone rewards and Nightmare Story stages all pay rerolls — but codes are the firehose. The October 2026 list includes 50KCCU (350), TRIALSPATCH (300), SORRY4DELAY (222), UPDATE3LEGACY (122), ARISE67 (222), SORRYFORZEDELAY (333), UPDATETWO (150), BENICE2ME (222) and more — over 3,000 Trait Rerolls from codes alone. That is enough to hunt a specific S-tier roll systematically.
What to chase
Deadeye
+20% damage, +5% crit chance, +50% crit damage
The strongest trait for sustained damage modes. Crits compound hard in longer fights — this is the trait that lets Flame Director one-shot raid bosses.
Supernova
+24% damage, +12-13% cooldown reduction, +20% attack speed
Trades some crit ceiling for consistency. The better pick for fast stage clearing and farming, especially on Cataclysm.
Ferocity
+18% damage, +8% cooldown reduction, +14% attack speed, +2 speed
Rounds out the S tier. A balanced damage-speed package.
Fortune
Bonus Coins, XP and drop rate
Best trait for farming sessions — keep one equipped whenever you grind materials rather than push boss content. Some tier lists rank it lower because it does not help pure DPS.
The honest advice from the traits tier list: Deadeye and Supernova are the two rolls worth hunting hard. Ferocity rounds out the S tier. Fortune is a farming essential that some lists underrate. Everything in D tier (Focus 1, Power 1, Swift 1, Vitality) is a placeholder — never stop on one while you hold rerolls.
The systematic hunt
- Decide the job first. Boss/raid build → Deadeye. Fast clear/farming build → Supernova. Material grinding → Fortune. One character, two loadouts.
- Filter by rarity. Open the traits menu and filter for Mythic, Legendary and Epic — spending rerolls on lower tiers is waste.
- Use auto reveal. Set your target rarity band and let the roller loop; stop when the target tier appears.
- Set a budget per session. 3,000 rerolls feels infinite but is not — 300-500 per session keeps the grind rational.
- Bank, don't settle. A B-tier roll today is fine while you bank for the S-tier hunt this weekend — codes keep paying.
Trait Reroll FAQ
How do I reroll traits in Anime Zero?
Visit the Enchanter (Matilda) and spend Trait Rerolls — each replaces your current trait with a random new one. Use auto reveal to roll repeatedly until your target rarity appears. Traits filter by Mythic/Legendary/Epic rarity in the traits menu.
What is the best trait to reroll for in Anime Zero?
Deadeye for boss and raid content (+20% damage, +5% crit chance, +50% crit damage), Supernova for fast farming (+24% damage, cooldown reduction, +20% attack speed). Fortune for material grinding sessions. These three cover every job in the game.
Can you get multiple traits in Anime Zero?
Your character carries one trait loadout at a time — the meta is two loadouts swapped by job (Deadeye for pushes, Fortune for farms), not stacking multiple traits.
Why do my Anime Zero trait rolls keep giving low-tier traits?
You are rolling without the rarity filter set, or settling on placeholders. Filter for Mythic/Legendary/Epic, use auto reveal with a stop condition, and never confirm a Focus 1 / Power 1 / Swift 1 / Vitality roll while you hold rerolls.
