Anime Zero Traits Tier List

The stat layer on top of your weapon — rolled at the Enchanter with Trait Rerolls

Traits are passive stat bonuses rolled for your character via the Enchanter (Matilda) with Trait Rerolls. Each roll has its own odds and pity counter, and the gap between a D-tier placeholder and an S-tier roll is the difference between clearing a boss and being stuck for hours. Codes hand out hundreds of rerolls — spend them knowing what to chase.

S

Meta — the chase targets

Deadeye

+20% damage, +5% crit chance, +50% crit damage

The strongest trait for sustained damage modes. Crits compound hard in longer fights — this is the trait that lets Flame Director one-shot raid bosses.

Supernova

+24% damage, +12-13% cooldown reduction, +20% attack speed

Trades some crit ceiling for consistency. The better pick for fast stage clearing and farming, especially on Cataclysm.

Ferocity

+18% damage, +8% cooldown reduction, +14% attack speed, +2 speed

Rounds out the S tier. A balanced damage-speed package.

Fortune

Bonus Coins, XP and drop rate

Best trait for farming sessions — keep one equipped whenever you grind materials rather than push boss content. Some tier lists rank it lower because it does not help pure DPS.

A

Strong — viable for most players

Sniper

Range/crit oriented stats

A tier on games.gg and pockettactics. Solid if you play ranged-keepaway weapons.

Overkill

Damage amplification on overkill hits

A tier consensus. Good in wave-heavy modes like Infinite.

Razor Focus

Focus/crit consistency

A tier on both games.gg and vacancybee.

Hunter

Damage vs elites/bosses

AllThings.ho lists it among the top traits to chase alongside Bloodlust and Supernova.

B

Situational — fits specific builds

Focus 3

Third-tier Focus stat

B tier placeholder — usable, replaceable.

Power 3

Third-tier flat damage

B tier. Power is the recommended early-game trait direction (flat damage), tier 3 is its best expression.

Swift 3

Third-tier speed

B tier. Movement speed matters more in Defense mode.

C

Mid — reroll when you have spare

Focus 2 / Power 2 / Swift 2

Second-tier stat rolls

C tier. Reroll when you have spare Trait Rerolls from codes.

D

Weak — reroll immediately

Focus 1 / Power 1 / Swift 1 / Vitality

First-tier stat rolls

D tier — reroll immediately. These are placeholder stats that do not compete at any stage of the game.

How to get Trait Rerolls

Trait Rerolls come from Weekly Quests, Achievements, Milestone rewards, Nightmare Story stages — and most abundantly from codes. The October 2026 code list alone pays out over 3,000 Trait Rerolls, which is enough to hunt a specific S-tier roll systematically rather than settling for whatever lands.

Traits FAQ

What is the best trait in Anime Zero?

Deadeye for sustained damage: +20% damage, +5% crit chance and +50% crit damage that compound in long fights — it is the trait behind Flame Director's one-shot raid ultimates. Supernova is better for fast farming: +24% damage, cooldown reduction and attack speed.

How do I get more Trait Rerolls in Anime Zero?

Weekly Quests, Achievements, Milestone rewards and Nightmare Story stages all pay rerolls, and codes are the fastest source — the October 2026 batch includes single codes worth 350 rerolls (50KCCU) and 300 (TRIALSPATCH).

Is Fortune a good trait in Anime Zero?

For farming, yes — it is the best. Fortune boosts Coins, XP and drop rate, which is exactly what you want while grinding evolution materials. Some tier lists rank it lower because it does not help boss DPS; keep it equipped during farm sessions and swap to Deadeye for pushes.

What traits should a beginner chase in Anime Zero?

Power first — flat damage is the most direct early upgrade and pairs with the first skill tree token (+15% damage on the Attack node). Supernova or Ferocity are realistic S-tier targets once your reroll bank builds up from codes.
