Anime Zero Evolution Guide

Evolving a weapon unlocks its fourth skill — the ultimate move. Full bills for all 12 weapons.

How evolution works

Evolution is the biggest power spike in Anime Zero: it unlocks each weapon's fourth skill, the ultimate. Collect the specified stage items, open the Evolution menu from the lobby, and spend the bill. Costs scale with rarity — Epic weapons evolve for 200 Gems, Lyth weapons for 3,000-10,000 plus raid-exclusive materials.

The efficient farm: repeat Act 1 Nightmare for Act 1 materials (Eyeballs, Cursed Fingers, Magic Pendants, Soul Fragments), Act 2 for Broken Blades and Tech Components, Act 3 for Mana Feathers, Wave Cores, Forbidden Fruit and Sun Cores. Fine Cloth drops across all chapters and Infinite mode, so it is never the bottleneck. The crafting NPC's convert system swaps surplus story items into whatever you are missing.

Which evolutions to prioritize

Your primary first, always. The ultimate unlock transforms clear speed more than any other upgrade.
Cursed King before Divine Emperor if you hold both Arcanes — its evolution bill is identical but its combat kit is stronger.
Flame Director last despite being best. 10,000 Gems plus 25 Ghosts and 10 Staffs of Homa from the raid (25% drop, 5-pity) is a months-scale bill — start farming the raid materials early, evolve her when the bank is full.
Skip Epic evolutions unless you are still running an Epic primary — 200 Gems is cheap but the weapon gets replaced.

Speed up the material grind

Fortune trait — boosts Coins, XP and drop rate while farming.
Drop-rate accessories — Blast Archer Wings (10%) endgame, Flame Pirate Hat (10%) budget.
Treasure Hunter title — community-reported drop-rate boost (it appears in the titles list without a published unlock condition).
Convert, don't re-farm. The crafting NPC converts surplus into needs — Act 1 repeats alone can fund most non-raid bills.
